The Derby Fire Department is comprised of four different companies. Each has specialties that they respond to along with the normal calls for service. There are three engine companies and a ladder company. All four companies have an application process to become a member of a specific company. Click here for a copy of our Recruitment Flyer.
We are always looking for volunteers. We provide the following:
Personal Protective Equipment
State Certified Training
Pump Operator Training
Specialty Services Training
Tax Abatements on City Property
If you are a leader, you can become a company officer
or a Chief Officer.
All we ask for is a little of your time. So stop in to any of the
four fire houses and ask for an application.
